Maybe.
It could have something to do with the fact that ever since we arrived back in the states August 1st, there has been something major going on.
Madalyn after she was out of recovery and settled down a little bit. She was still not feeling very well. At this point she still had the pH probe in her nose. (Shortly after she pulled it out). :(
Daniel's birthday party had to be put off several weeks after his actual birthday on July 27th. (We were in China then and it was the night all "you know what" hit the fan). Then we celebrated Justin's 5th birthday as well!!
Bobbing for apples.

Happy 5th Birthday to my baby boy!!
Can you tell these two are related?
Buddy Walk on Aug 25th in Colorado Springs.
So cool that the storm troopers came to the buddy walk!
High-fivin' the red storm trooper!! Super cool!
Madalyn dancing to the music at the buddy walk. She loved it!
And right in the middle of all that, Madalyn and Anna were sick and had to go on oxygen and antibiotics again.
We are trying really hard to adjust to the new little people in our lives and home. It is definitely a new busy! Lol
This is how I feel some days. Pushing a wagon full of girls uphill... Lol
The boys keep us super busy with football...
And the little girls started preschool which included filling out tons of applications, evaluations, and IEP meetings...
We just got back from Children's Hospital in Denver at the Aerodigestive Clinic with Madalyn. There's no question it gave us a lot of good information and things we didn't know. But it was also intense and not for the faint of heart. Madalyn endured so much during her 2 days of clinic, x-rays, and procedures. The after effect of anesthesia was hard enough in itself, and she has really struggled the last 2 days. Her bronchoscopy really aggravated her lungs and she has had a tough time recovering from all of that.
Waiting in the playroom before her procedures.

Once we got home (7 hour drive), we thought we were on the homestretch but promptly ended up in the ER at midnight with complications from Madalyn's procedures. She was having breathing difficulties and had definitely gotten a little worse from the day before. So we spent the night in the hospital...
It's okay, I don't need sleep anymore.
The good news is she only had to spend one night in the hospital and she is doing much better today. I'm sure it will take a few more days or so before she is back to herself. Well that is about it for the long update. (That's what happens when it is a month in between posts....)
