What an interesting day today has been! We started out about 9:45 this morning in a cab with our facilitator. We had to head to the courthouse to pick up our court decree. Sound easy?? Well, not really! After a long drive in very heavy traffic, and one stop at the notary's office, we made it to our pretty pink courthouse! In we went and proceeded to wait about 2 hours to be able to get the decree, look it over, make a few minor changes, and get it back to the judge. Then we waited a couple more hours for her to finish it, sign it, print out 16 copies, and have the Head Judge stamp them. Yes, we sat in that courthouse for about 4 hours total!

We were going to start the birth certificates today and have Mark drive a couple hours to a different town to get Anna's while I stayed here in the city and got Victoria's. Needless to say, we did not have enough time for Mark to go, but we did get some preliminary paperwork done
for both birth certificates. He will go first thing tomorrow morning and hopefully get it without any problems! I will stay here with our facilitator and get the other one and some other paperwork done as well. These are very important items as we have to have them to be able to get the girls out of the orphanage and also to get their passports.

We are still very much hoping to be able to get the girls tomorrow. I am so excited to see them and get them out of there, I can hardly stand it! This evening I am working on getting their bag and diapers and toys and and food and everything I can think of ready for tomorrow! I am also picking out their Gotcha Day clothes!!! How fun is that?!

Anyway, we pretty much have the same prayer requests. Please keep praying that all this paper-chasing we are doing will go smoothly, without problems, delays, or anything like that. Maybe even that it could go quicker than normal! :)) You really just never know how it will go around here!! But I know without a doubt that God has answered prayers so far and taken care of everything during this whole adoption! And I believe that He will continue to do so! Also, please pray for safety for all of us as we travel around the city and as Mark goes 2 hours away for Anna's birth certificate!

I would love to write more about today's interesting events, but there's stuff we just have to get done this evening! Tomorrow will be another busy day. We have alot to get done, and whatever we get done tomorrow will directly affect how soon we are able to actually come home!

Psalm 139:13-16

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
