Gotcha Day for Ai

Yesterday was awesome!  We saw our little girl who started this whole adventure to China, for the first time!  She is just beautiful and what a character!!  She LOVES music and loves to dance!  She is very sweet and dainty.  She isn't tiny, but her mannerisms are delicate.  She is not rough and tumble like her little sister!  Lol  A few weeks back, we received news that Ai has Alopecia, which causes hair loss.  She has a patch on the top of her head where she has lost her hair, so she wears a cute headband that someone at the orphanage made for her.  Hopefully when we get back to the states we can find out more about treating it.  She is still the most beautiful little girl and we are in love!  I will try to write more about both girls later.

Today we are headed to the orphanage in Hengyang to see where our little Ai Ai has grown up.  It is a 3 hour drive one way, so it's going to be a be a long day.  Please pray for safety for traveling.  Just driving around the city makes me nervous here.  There are no seatbelts in the cars and they are very aggressive and fast drivers.  It is very similar to what we experienced in Kiev, (so for those of you who have been to Ukraine you know what I am talking about), but here there seems to be a whole lot more people and many, many people ride mopeds. They are all over the place, dodging in and out of cars and buses!  lol  We even saw a lady driving her moped with her little boy sitting in a plastic kids chair at her feet.  No car seat rules here! Lol  ha ha

Here's some pics from yesterday.

 Waiting on Ai

 Here she is!!!

With one of her nannies and the orphanage director.  Super nice people!

She loves loves loves music and dances whenever she hears it.  So funny!!

Dancing with her nanny.  It is ovbious that Ai was loved very much by her nanny and the orphanage director.  They were so sweet to her and she loves them as well.

Ruby listening to music on my phone.

Finally...all the paperwork is done!!!!!  Both girls are officially ours!

And your ears will hear a word behind you, "This is the way, walk in it", whenever you turn to the right or to the left. Isaiah 30:21

Psalm 139:13-16

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
